Great version of an all time classic that was originally written in 1957 as a folk song by British political singer/songwriter Ewan MacColl. Later covered by Peter, Paul & Mary; most famously by Roberta Flack; Leona Lewis and Elvis Presley. MacColl hated everyones version but his own, especially Presley's.

Stereophonics - The first time that ever I saw your face.

Quality Ewetube, love this tune

I love how Johnny Cash's voice developed in later years, brings a tear to my eye when I hear some of his later work: he was close to death when some of it was produced and it was full of emotion.

I always loved Joe Strummer's work.

'First had this album on tape for my birthday! then I bought it on vinyl and now on CD, it just doesn't stop for anything, a totally superb album'

"Hey little baby don't you lean down low, and your brains exposed and it's starting to show your rotten thoughts, YUK!" I loved this band.
