Dangerous
It's like a doctors waiting room compared to the other one. A much better venue though.Even the PDC have admitted that the Lakeside is the best venue for darts.

Luke
I can't watch this due to: 1. The players being absolutely ********, 2. The announcer sounding like a ********** 3. The commentators being clueless 4. The dart sounding like a gunshot when it hits the board. Apart from that its grreat
mcsilks
I've heard some folks say the standard of the BDO isn't as good as the PDC but the overall averages in the BDO have been higher than the PDC in the last few years.
Dangerous
The averages are good, the BDO lacks character though. The PDC has top players who recently were BDO, Gary Anderson,Mervyn King,Van gerwyn,Klassen, Barney and Chisnell. In fact all the players originally start in the BDO with super league and county darts.Unfortunayely theres not much money in it,the PDC has the riches and more glamour. The PDC is tougher though.I spent two years on the circuit with the PDC and it was really tough. The BDO has a wider spectrum and is very important to darts.Without the BDO there would be no PDC. Gary Teale
I'm sure the massive crowds and money on offer effect the averages as more pressure. All pros are great in practice conditions in any sport.
