Leicester Ram
I've just finished watching their Christmas special. For a show with such a massive fanbase, i really think Top Gear will be meeting its end soon. Each time the episodes are extremely predictable and becoming repetitive after over 10 series with the same jokes and scenario's each time (Breaking May's car, everything going tits up and offending people) I used to be a big fan, but after 4 years of repeats on Dave and Hammond being a complete white toothed ****, i am calling time on Top Gear. wondering if anyone else has similar/utterly different opinions on it. ladyram
We've just watched it too Leicester - as you say, it was predictable in places and it was easy to see the intended puns on the train banners. Twas funny though, especially when Clarkson called May a monumental kn*bend. I have to laugh at how Hammond gets emotionally attached to his cars. Mind you, that Mini was a little gem and in Hammond's eyes, another Oliver! They did manage to make a bit of a mockery of all things British though didn't they? Then left the knackered cars where no bugger would ever see them. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mellow' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> and someone ought to have a word with May for putting Coronation chicken on a digestive and serving it to VIP's. rsmini
But why did they virtually destroy a classic Mini!! It was one of the last ones built and in perfect condition and now it is wrecked. They went to far this time. The episode was very good but expecting a winch on a Mini to pull a 2 tonne Roller up a steep hill was incredibly stupid

rsmini
Of course it was staged mate!! The poor Mini will never be the same again. It will end up in the TG display at Beaulieu Motor Museum. Much as I love TG the problem was it is a very rare Mini as it was one of the last ones built. They should have used one from the late 80's when Rover used cheap metal from India and they rusted like hell.
Asanovic
Embarrassing how much it's all staged.
SSD
I used to like top gear alot but the last 3/4 years its all too silly and very predictable 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> even the producer said in an interview a couple of years ago they were running out of ideas for the presenters characters. Hammond's just so cringey, especially when he's on total wipeout. What happened to the Hammond that used to present Braniac?? That was awsome TV 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

SSD
I think they need a girl presenter........and a fit one too 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
WorksopRam
Used to watch it a fair bit, mainly because it felt like the right and manly thing to do. Went to the Roadshow Live thing at NEC a couple of years ago though, that was decent.
rsmini
At least they didn't have a massive fire at the end this time 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> and that straight six cricket did look fun as well
