Kinza speaks the truth, well types it anyway, slipping a wedding ring on a lass's finger appears to be some kind of signal to her she can stop delivering the goods...it's bizarre.

Anyway, I've been with my lass 28 years now and despite her lack of enthusiasm for dishing out the BJ's she's a good 'un, good luck for tomorrow,

Good luck mate hope all goes well! I'm getting married in six months and how I see it is, it's kinda her day she has organised everything which I don't mind I've been with her seven years she deserves a little happiness!!!! But if the BJ's really do stop the whole thing is off!!! Where is dav and lady ram? :-)

thankyou guys for your advice the BJ advice could have been usefull 5 minutes before i proposed , im Derby raised with no catholic background, the ceremony is obviously important for the missus (she is Polish) and it will be a catholic wedding ( i agreed for a catholic wedding if i could wear my rams badge) , i hope the meaning of have a Wife is no worse but better than having a girlfriend

All the best mate. Not sure I could get married on the day of a derby game though. I would be more worried about the score lol.

the missus has organised a flatscreen in the reception room to show a slideshow our pictures , i mentioned that that would happen after final score 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' /> didnt go down to well (guess what kinza kinda predicted)

Have a lovely day tomorrow and all the best for your future life, which infact, really doesn't change much in my opinion. You will praps feel a bit more 'together' if that makes sense. You've already made your commitment, you're just letting everyone else know.

On the subject of BJ's, I'm keeping my mouth shut. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

I think that's brilliant Ramexpat! I wish you and your wife every happiness and may all your troubles be little ones! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I'm not an expert on marriage - my first one went out the window but I'm not going to go into that. What it did do is give me loads of experience in dealing with the not so happy times and my life with Dav is completely different. I can honestly say I've known him for 11 years and they've been the best years of my life.

Yep, we row, there isn't a married couple who doesn't have their differences and we've had some belters (one row we had, we stopped halfway through and had a cuppa, then started up again) but the thing is, we know we will come out the other side and move forwards. If I could give you any tips - I'd say at times, you have to compromise. Marriage at times can be very hard work but stick at it. Always be prepared to listen and work things out together.

I don't know why I'm telling you this, it sounds to me like you've got everything sorted - and with the kids aswell, there is no greater commitment than that!

Lyndsey and Mrs are spot on, nowt much will change - and I disagree with the bedroom athletics going down the pan, it's what you make it 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> and if anything, it does make you feel closer to each other. It's a kind of private feeling nobody else gets.

I really hope you have an amazing day, come back and tell us all about it - well, some bits anyway 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> be happy xx
