archram
Am able to get to Tuesday's game and want to come by National Express as it's cheaper. Have googled etc but can't find out where the coach station actually is! Can you walk to PP from there or is there a bus?
McRamFan
It's a 15-20 minute walk from the Derby Bus Station to Pride Park. When you are dropped off you will be at the furthest point in the bus station, my suggestion is walk through to the station to the main enterence and turn left. You will see a car park on the left, shopping centre on the right, and close by sign posts for a cycle path to Pride Park. Follow those, if not follow signs for Derby Rail Station. There a two options, over the railway via the station, or under. Either way you will see signs and it makes little difference if you miss or choose either option. Depending on your arrival time, you could easily pick up a supporter on their way, follow them or ask for directions. No idea on buses, as don't use them. A cab should not be more than a fiver. I would suggest you ask to go to TC Harrison's, ford dealer, rather than the ground, as yellow cabs are rip off merchants IMHO. Then you are there. Hope than helps. trekkie_ram
If you are able bodied, then walk, it isn't far at all.
archram
Many thanks for the info. In spite of being a cancer recovering 70 yr old I do prefer to walk, so thanks for detailed instructions,McRam Fan. VulcanRam
Archram, McRam's intructions are good - as long as you make sure you are walking on/under/next to the flyover onto Pride Park you can't go wrong. The way things are going the walk will be more fun than the match!
