Edwin Gyasi

Twenty-year-old forward Edwin Gyasi is training with Derby and he is due to play for the Reserves tomorrow.


Gyasi, born in Amsterdam and eligible for Ghana, can play wide left or right and is a free agent.

He has been playing in Holland where his last club was AZ Alkmaar, although he had a loan spell at Telstar last season.

According to wiki his weight 76kg, height 183cm.

Looks like he was on trial at Bundesliga side FC Cologne.

It was in september. Failed to impress. No more info about him.

The only Benny Feilhaber's video on youtube that i've seen is not about goals.

I don't think he has some. Tbh he isn't that good at singing and miming too. Crap.

Still think he wasn't given a proper chance at DCFC though,

To be fair think this is a better video link


He is quick on his feet, passes and move well, in this video his first touch is slightly better and has lovely ball control. The only thing it does not show is his tackling side if he has one and I think that is where Clough will probably say no too. So what if he can only use his left Beckham could only use his right. This kid can see a gap and it takes no harm looking at him on a trial and see how he does. Would be interesting to see what people say who go and watch the reserves.
