Boycie
What a lovely fella. I like the Hammers, seems like a real family club. Well, it was once, before the icelandics and the lot got hold of it. But that is the owners, not the fans. Similar fan base to us I think. froggg
I like the sound of brunch for a quid, whether we could get a mini bus up from the south coast is another matter, great business idea though 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/7809-pub-for-west-ham-away-by-coach-or-mini-bus/#findComment-216252 Share on other sites

Asanovic
Our away following is *****, in my opinion. Bet we don't take 1500 down here. Good pub is the Old Kings Head at London Bridge (Borough Market exit) - you can then get the Jubilee Line across. Usually go there when we play Millwall. Boycie
forests is better, I admit. but, i can't blame the fans not wanting to go to the home games, tis a hole isn't it. All these new grounds to visit, must be a treat. Good pub is the Old Kings Head at London Bridge (Borough Market exit) - you can then get the Jubilee Line across. Usually go there when we play Millwall. Given we usually take 1000 to Millwall, i'd have only expected 1500 to West Ham had it not been on TV (suppose it's slightly less depressing than South Bermondsey), but given it's on TV now, and is a late kick off, and the ticket prices are pretty naff, I doubt we'll break 1000. Oh well, i've accepted our support is poor, hope it gets better but won't hold my breath. If I wasn't going on t' train i'd have been bang up for this pub lark. He organises the England fan parties at the Green Man pub and they are always packed to the rafters. trekkie_ram
I would have considered going if it wasn't on telly. It's probably my third easiest accessible ground from here (behind Peterborough & Ipswich), but £70+ to go in person, or the cost of a few tins to watch it at home. Rather keep the money for a potential trip later in the season.
