Rather see Croft there tbh. All our CB's are proper CB's aren;t they? Not really a versatil bunch. It'd have to be Croft! Surely not Barker. He must of been faster in those days?? Alph Posted September 25, 2011 Share Posted September 25, 2011 Yeah. The only difference between OB and Barker imo is that OB can be a bit naive at times. Which is really a huge compliment to OB at his age that he's not all that far behind Barker. Almost equal in terms of ability maybe!? I think OB can drop his place knowing that he's forced himself into the reckoning. At his age in his position that must be relatively unheard of? That naivety should go. Had Millwall scored a free kick yesterday he might of learned a hard lesson on diving in on the edge of our area when perhaps he could of stood strong? I wonder how many times he'll not drill it into the crowd when he's in a situation like Burnley. Barker shouldn't make these mistakes and fully fit probably will and should walk back in the side. I hope that O'Brien is given game time whenever possible though. If Nigel wants to see out games with 5 at the back like he sometimes likes to, then maybe the man to come on now will be OB rather than Anderson? He was brought into a side on a poor run. I have always rated him though but lets face it I probably never saw him as much as you. Glad hes been given his chance to shine.
