smiffy
Shouldn't he be given time to get his own team together, and to get rid of players left by previous managers, and he is also working under financial restraints, (mmm now where have I heard that before 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> ). It is true. Take the emotion and joy out of seeing them fail, and he should be given time to turn this situation around. Look how well it's working for us. I just hope it doesn't work for them. He has done half of that, got rid of 9 or 10 isn't it. He just seems to have forgot to bring anyone in, either that or he can't spot good cheap talent or realise that you have to keep sone if the players from before because you can't always get the players you want to replace them. Has he gotten rid of them, or been told he has to ? I am not defending him, think he is a great coach, but not too good a man manager.

Most of them had gone before he got there, hadn't they? Agree with 2nd part of your post. Do you think he will give Jim a ring to see if he can help fix it? Asanovic
How did you feel about him when he was our number two, and possibly the best coach we have had, after B C Yeah, I liked him. Then he got carried away and got into management, realised he was rubbish at it, and carried on regardless. And screwed up our national team. No sympathy for the bloke. Tactically inept as well. For all those that said Clough had no 'plan B' last season when things weren't working - look at forest when we beat them! McClaren was absolutely clueless. If you want an example of an Assistant Manager with a bit of class, look at Steve Clarke.

ram2767
How did you feel about him when he was our number two, and possibly the best coach we have had, after B C I liked him then yeah, but I'm not a club before country kinda person. England comes first with me and it should be with everyone, it isn't and that why we haven't won anything in years. I hated what he did with England. Honestly I didn't like that he went to Forest either but listening to what he said after the forest-derby game and other games after that I found respect for him, he was honest about it and thats nice to hear. It reminded me about what I used to like about him. Back to my post though, he's just led Forest to a 5-1 defeat so I'm obviously gonna say that. I'm glad that hes failing at Forest, afterall I don't know anyone who says he's a good manager, everyone will agree that hes an excellent coach though so whats he losing out on? If he came back to derby in a coaching role I'd be pleased to have him because he's fantastic, but my feelings towards him are still mixed. I did hate him when he fcked england up. I love that hes fcking forest up.
