GboroRam
In the nursery where I work "Baa baa black sheep" has a big no-no attached to it now, but they can sing "baa baa white sheep have you any spots, yes sir, yes sir, I have lots......" The worlds fookin stoooopid  - does this make me rascist? Have you asked why? I know the Daily Scaremonger, I mean Daily Mail, made a big fuss about the nursery that they said banned Baa Baa Black Sheep in favour of Baa Baa Rainbow Sheep. Reality was it was just the nursery teaching the kids about colours by singing Black, White, Blue, Red etc - and finishing with Rainbow. But that wouldn't sell as many papers to the Disgusted of Hemel Hempsteads, so they made up their own story.
ladyram
Yeah, I asked the staff and they said they didn't want to offend anyone with dark skin. Some of the parents who I talk to (who do have dark skin) aren't fussed and think it's daft too. To me, racism shouldn't come into it. Black is a colour and so is white. GboroRam
Actually, both are tones (not colours). But that's not the point But it's paranoia causing it, fed by the likes of the Daily Mail. Nobody is going to complain about Baa Baa Black Sheep.
