Only just been given internation clearance or whatever it's called to sign for them, at least Blackstock will have some company in the treatment room.

When you look at the position Forest are in the table, as a Forest fan would you also be dissapointed with the activity in the transfer window. They have a thin squad just like us, only 1 left back, only 1 right back. A couple of long term injuries like Blackstock and Findley could screw up their promotion hopes.

Not a massive squad is it, add into that a couple of pulled hammys, bit of flu to go round or even the squits.

Of course it is, but as a Forest fan you would of surely hoped for a couple more signings, they are in pole position at the moment but a few defensive injuries plus all the midweek games coming up, you would of thought they would of stregthened a little more than what they have.

Apparently he was injured when he came over,

He went to wolves for a trial but was injured so he got treatment off them, then sneaked to Nottingham and got a contract. I thinkn he fancied gettign paid for doing nothing for a bit.

Wolves invited the 25-year-old United States international for a trial but after getting injured the striker slipped off to agree a contract at the City Ground.

McCarthy revealed: “We had him here, he came and trained with us for two or three days but he’s gone to Nottingham Forest.

“We brought him over but he was injured when he came here so we gave him treatment and then he went to Nottingham Forest, so we’ll never know.â€

The ex-LA Galaxy front man was a free agent after leaving Real Salt Lake.

McCarthy wanted to view the player first, unlike the Championship club.

“I think he’s been offered a contract, whereas we wanted to have a look at him,†McCarthy added.
