The movement, the work rate, the way Messi glides across the grass (I have never seen him take a heavy touch when dribbling - amazing). It was Art not football. Yes, Messi was exceptional, as was Xavi. To quote Alan Partridge, it really was "liquid football." The pass from Xavi for the first goal (I think the first goal) was beautiful, it was like a golfer using a sand-wedge. Also did anyone else think that when Ronaldo pushed Pep Guardiola away that Pep actually deserved it for throwing the ball away?! Thought the best person on the pitch was the ref!
