chezzyram
I know financial discussions are on the back burner with our current upturn in fortune on the pitch but the news coming out of the Reebok yesterday caught my eye. Bolton announced losses of £35.4 million, leaving them with a debt of £93 million and an 86% wages to turnover ratio. For a club arguably smaller than Derby, albeit they are in the Prem, this is an eyewatering level of debt to sustain.
Perky1106
I really can't understand how they'd be in that much debt considering they have sustained PL stability. Could easily be the next Pompey though.

Could easily be the next Pompey though. Low gate receipts won't help, let's be honest, under Megson you're not going to get big crowds. It's a shame for Coyle because he's got them into a decent position. Shame it wasn't Blackburn mind, they might want to offload Fielding.
Boycie
I agree, we have no debt, only the ground. We're making a loss, but I look forward to splashing the cash again in the prem and getting into the *****. I love debt.
Perky1106
I reckon a few will be eyeing up Klasnic. Spurs most likely, they love getting players on the cheap when clubs have a major downfall.
ossieenders
and an 86% wages to turnover ratio Therein lies the problem. You cannot sustain that as you are gambling on staying in the Prem every year and receiving $ky Dollar$
Leeds Ram
there gates are tiny, only 18-24,000 a game in the prem. I thought Bolton did things on the cheap but there you go, serious problems and i would say they are in problems unless they can sort it.
