I don't think the miss was anything to do with his passing ability - he put one in the net at Watford from 20 yards precisely down the only pathway that would have found the net. But that was the 2nd minute, not the 97th minute after an 80 yard sprint. I think his legs simply turned to jelly and he rushed his shot/pass because he knew the defender was closing in - the fact he used his left foot was evidence of that.

It's true that he's not the most reliable passer in the squad, but I don't think he's as bad as you're suggesting. I think the second half issues were due to a bit of tiredness but mostly Osborne being unable to do Ozohs job effectively.
