CumbrianRam
Derby County would be interested in signing Leicester striker Matty Fryatt if he became available, boss Nigel Clough has revealed. The Rams manager said they were keeping tabs on "three or four" players now the window for loan deals has opened. He told BBC Radio Derby: "There might have been a phone call in terms of 'if anything happens keep us informed'. "I wouldn't class that as 'can we have him?' But if he becomes available we would like to be in there." Clough added: "He is another player we rate highly, in the James Vaughan, Chris Wood mould and Ben Davies. "All these players we are looking at and monitoring." The Rams are currently short of numbers, particularly following the departure of Rob Hulse to QPR. But Clough insists they will not be rushed into bringing players in. "We have been making calls but I wouldn't say we were close to anything," he said. "We have highlighted three or four players we think would improve us and now it's a case of waiting for them. "We are not going to go down the road we did last season when we brought people in too readily, just to the bolster the squad." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/d/derby_county/8989180.stm

Day
what were the reasons given, if any, that the players were unhappy? No reasons were given, Like I said the players names were not mentioned so Fryatt might not even be one of them, although Leicester fans believe he was.
