Day
Skysports.com understands Barnsley are in talks to sign former Derby defender Jay McEveley. McEveley is available on a free transfer after leaving Pride Park at the end of last season. A number of clubs are thought to have expressed an interest in the Scotland international, but Barnsley are hoping to lure him to Oakwell. Leeds Ram
the fact is that jay mcevely wasn't as bad as everyone thought, he was alright, but he did try to pass to extravagantly and he did give his all on the field which many players last season didn't. I am a bit worried about left back this season, moxey was worse than mceveley last season, started well but faded away badly, and roberts who at 30 years old could be over the hill tbh
Boycie
30 aint old for a defender i don't think.

Day
Depends what left back you are, if he stays back and doesn't bomb forward like Moxey and Jay did age is no problemo and surely thats a bonus? We need to play Martin down the left tho to make the runs.
Leeds Ram
im not a massive fan of martin tbh, had one good game against wha was effectivly cardiff city reserves and that was it, i hope roberts is good but it may be one season too many, we'll see in august
Day
He's only been given 2 starts, you don't like to give em a chance do yer? I bet you'd expect a hat-trick from the new striker on his debut...if we get one.
