GboroRam
Didn't help that he was crap, running round like a headless chicken in the centre of the pitch. His chant would have been more likely "get him f**king off".
Day
NEW loan signing Tomasz Cywka has been described as a "Kris Commons-type" player by Derby County manager Nigel Clough. The Polish Under-21 international signed from Wigan Athletic on Thursday and is set to be on the bench for today's home clash against Leicester City. Clough says the loan spell gives the Rams a chance to take a close look at the 21-year-old forward, with a view to next season. "We just wanted another option. We couldn't get Tommy Smith as Portsmouth weren't letting him out on loan but with the unreliability of Steve Davies and Kris Commons at the moment, Tomasz gives us another option alongside Rob Hulse and Chris Porter," said Clough. "Although he hasn't got experience at Championship level, we're looking at him to see what he's like, maybe for next season. "He's one of those Kris Commons-type of players. He just drops off the striker, ideally, but can play up front." Derby can name only five loan players in the 18 on matchday and so on-loan goalkeeper David Martin, who has two weeks of his stint from Liverpool left, will miss out. Saul Deeney will be on the bench. Cywka hopes to show Derby what he can do between now and the end of the season. Former Rams boss Paul Jewell was manager at Wigan when he signed Cywka from Polish side Gwarek Zabrze in 2006. He has been a regular in the Latics' reserves but has made only two senior appearances, both in cup competitions. "Coming to Derby is a very good opportunity for me to improve myself and I am really looking forward to it," said Cywka. "I am definitely an offensive player. I like to play up front or behind the striker and I like to create and score." Cywka met two familiar faces in the Derby dressing room in former Wigan player Gary Teale and Chris Porter, who was at Oldham when Cywka was there on loan in 2006. http://www.therams.co.uk/news/Rams-loan-recruit-Cywka-Commons-touch-says-Clough/article-1948923-detail/article.html
vicky-27
Derby County are keen on making Tomasz Cywka`s temporary switch from Wigan Athletic a permanent one following another sound performance for the Rams against Crystal Palace on Saturday. Although the young Pole was withdrawn in the second half of the game he`d already done enough to excite Derby boss Nigel Clough who sang his praises when speaking to the press Clough said: "Tomasz gets hold of the ball, though he got tired in the second half and got a couple of knocks as well, that`s why he came off. "He is a player we would like to have around either on loan or permanently, so we will be exploring that. "He has only played a couple of games for us but he has looked lively and bright. He has done the same when we have seen him play for Wigan`s reserves this season, so he will get another start against Bristol City next week and we will take it from there." "There is always room in your squad for players like Cywka "

Hucknall Ram
Small but stocky, got stuck in I thought. And also had two or three palace players kicking at his ankles and still came away with the ball.

I look at this lad and expect to see him on a push bike delivering papers in the morning before school.

Day
DERBY County are making progress in their bid to sign Polish Under-21 international Tomasz Cywka. "We would love to get him on board next season and we are getting closer to that," said Rams manager Nigel Clough. Cywka, who has started the last three games and impressed, is on loan from Wigan Athletic until the end of the season. He is out of contract this summer and Wigan have an option to extend his deal, but Derby hope they can land the 21-year-old forward on a permanent basis. Derby are talking with Wigan and the player's representative about his future. "We are moving on a little bit further with it. I think next week things will become much clearer, and we are still very hopeful," said Clough. "Tomasz has certainly enjoyed it here and we have given him the opportunity to play. "He is also the sort of player we feel can improve." Former Rams boss Paul Jewell was manager at Wigan when they signed Cywka from Polish side Gwarek Zabrze in 2006 but he has made only two senior appearances for the club, both in cup competitions. Cywka is one of a number of summer targets for Derby. Among the others are Ssausagehorpe United's 20-goal striker Gary Hooper, Crewe right-back John Brayford, ADO Den Haag's Danny Buijs and Michael Tonge, who the Rams would like to bring back on loan next season. "We have identified the targets for the summer and we are all working as hard as we can to bring those in," said Clough. "You need your main targets but you still have to look at development players as well, like Tomasz Cywka, without saying he is going to sit in the Reserves for a year because he is too good for that. "He is 21, so what is he going to be like the season after next? "We are very pleased with the way he has settled in and played. He showed it in training the first time he came in and the other players like him and know he can play." http://www.therams.co.uk/news/Rams-closing-Polish-star-Cywka/article-2086274-detail/article.html
