When was the last time we had an active England International in the team?

As the title says, with the possibility of Scotty Carson getting in the England squad for next year it got me thinking. 

I seem to remember Frank Fielding being close to the Senior setup when he first came to us. Obviously players like Hudds etc have been in and around the setup, but I can't  think of any that were aatually in the squad while playing for us.

Jack butland was an active international but wasn’t here long enough to get called up while here.

Seth Johnson got his one England cap while playing for us not sure if he was the last though.

Even that wasn’t a proper England team though even though it was technically a full international

Before that I think Wright and Shilton

Amazingly Scott only had 4 England caps - hardly got a sniff really!

Even more amazingly, Joe Hart has 75 and counting! And we wonder why we're ****?!

I'd love to see Scott back in the international fold.
