Sunderland on match of the day...perfect bad day

Southamptons first was a handball.
Own goal.
Camera shots of masses of empty seats towards the end
Disallowed "consolation" goal
Lost 0-4
Final whistle...muffled boos as most of the fans had left.
Shots of dejected fans surrounded by empty seats with rain pouring down.

We thought our first half v Bristol was bad!

And paying through the nose to watch it too. Ahh the glorious Premier League. A league where half of the sides in there are no better than half of the sides in the league below.

Premier quality apparently. The cream of English football.

Add to that Middlesbrouugh. A team who just simply don't want to get beat. Winning doesn't cross their minds. So long as they don't lose.

Ahh the great Premier League. Where staying in it is more important than trying to entertain. After all, what does everyone pay to see?

Add the fact that the seats were largely pink and the fact it will be May before they can sign anymore players that weren't really good enough for Everton and are now 5 years older.
