Key points to bear in mind are that whilst the football has not been great nobody has absolutely stuffed Derby yet....and if we rise on average a place in the table each game, in 10 games time we should be within a win of the playoffs... TBH I'd rather have a strong end to the season ( so would SM I'm sure)..than another season that fizzles out. As everybody says _ the season is still young, there are plenty of points to play for..etc etc...but I think seeing where we are in 10 games time might be a really interesting measure of how much of a corner has just been turned (excuse the pun)... Much talk about buying strikers in the Jan. window, but in some sense doing well between now and then might be a key thing in influencing somebody half decent to sign for us.... Onwards and upwards?
