Grantona
Too arrogant in thinking money can buy promotion to PL. Maybe that's why some of the over-priced, overpaid players believe they don't have to show spirit and put in the hard yards (like Huddersfield for instance). They went on a team-bonding pre-season trip to a remote Swedish island - no mobiles or luxury items allowed. Can you imagine many, probaby only a few, Rams players' putting up with this? Curtains
Mel is the owner and he is doing ok for me. The only thing I disagreed with was him going in the dressing room after Reading 0-0 . i like Mel Morris and Sam Rush.

That's a sweeping statement about the players! There's still a number of NC players at the club who helped to build a good team spirit and I'm sure the squad would've accepted what their boss asked them to do if it indeed involved a challenge. How many posters on here would do it?
trevor1946
Mel Morris bought into this club, and backed his judgement, and bought the Americans out, He supported the way the club was being run,and invested many millions in players and infrastructure. People keep calling a Head Coach a manager, when the roles are totally different, Mel Morris gave the system he inherited a fair chance, and now brought in a manager to work with him to take the club forward ., Mel Morris is good for the club, and his management team of Pearson n co are fine
