Indeed I was.....

With the benefit of hindsight,  what with having a new management team and a number of players needing to start later owing to euro involvement,  3 matches could prove to be a very unwise decision. 

What would a better one have been?  Well, perhaps instead of the 2 sides in the one match v benfica, pool those players with the kids who played against vitoria to try and get supposed squad players at least a full 90 min. 

The schedule as is looks poorly thought through.  Bet nigel isn't that happy either.

Id imagine you're right. 

A mix and match game in Portugal, a game at Walsall, a couple of mix and match games on consecutive nights at Chesterfield and Sheffield United then away again to Germany.
