Storms overnight night with thunder and lightning (yea ok, very very frightening) on south coast. Jeez, the rain as well. Feel for them poor people who have it 10 times worse though. The archipelago and long sea channel up to the city is like a wind funnel. Funny though, when you lived there as long as I have then you get to know the way to walk around the city. Which streets and routes to take that give shelter from the wind. The whole experience was fantastic. Sleeping in the Ice Room, seeing the Northern Lights, Husky Rides, Meal in forest log cabins, driving snow mobiles. Brilliant. When we felt the cold in Stockholm we got quite worried, however we ended up going out in our jim jams to see the Northern Lights one night!
