Smyth_18 Posted March 11, 2015 Share Posted March 11, 2015 Haha.....that night was a bit of a throwback for some of us who should have known better.....outside the East Stand, queueing at the turnstiles in good humour, black and white scarves everywhere, a group of drunken Manchester United fans came by giving it the big 'un, shouting and chanting abuse at us from behind a temporary fence.................everyone laughed and gave it a bit back but they then attacked the fence, shaking it, with the old coked up eyes before breaking through and running at us rather aggressively.Unfortunately, one or two of us left our places in the queues and dissuaded the bully boy Manure fans from any further activities by giving them a smack. Not proud of it but at the time it was probably called for as there was loads of families and OAP's in the queues being abused by the ******** mancs. There was no help from stewards or Police so we took it on ourselves to sort it.Later, up in the East Stand upper tier, some stewards came up a bit stroppy when we "escorted" a United fan out. The stewards may have received a bit of abuse and threats when they rescued him......I'm sure Mostyn would understand! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
