They (DCFC) obviously thought at the time that there was a possibility that he would play again. Scott129 Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Slightly off topic but someone mentioned it. I do think Barker would get in our current side and strengthen it (next to Keogh). What was so bad about the injury, I know there was dislocation of the knee and I assume there was ligament damage but what was the actual damage? There was the knee cap (think it was dislocated but not sure) and he also tore both his ACL and MCL. Anything that could have gone wrong in his knee did. On the one hand it's good that the club has stuck by him through his injury, but on the other it's not like he's going to be a pauper if we end up letting him go. He comes across as a really nice guy, and I'm gutted for him that he's had this injury. My opinion hasn't changed from the moment the extent of it was revealed though; I don't think he'll ever play again.
