Phoenix
Good read but loads of errors. Forest 3-0 up at half time then Derby came back to win 3-2 ? Eh? Shilton never played under Clough at Derby And I think Clough joined Forest in 1975 not 1976. If he hopes to be a football journalist he needs to buck his ideas up. Don't think he actually says that, but otherwise I agree with you. It's sprinkled with errors, the odd spelling mistake and clumsy constuction, in all, poor journalism, but he certainly captures the mood. Pity he didn't mention the coffe cup.
eddie
Remember watching this with my Dad, I said straight away that he punched it in... Not only that but if you look he (the cheat) was offside as well! Anyone ever buy "Peter Shilton's Handball Maradona" for the Commodore 64? A game that bore as much relation to the incident which spawned the title as the incident itself did to football.
