Unless he was regularly made a fool of in training...... He was pretty bad every week and it wasn't a surprise how badly he played that day. When Sammon came on in the second half of Clough's last game in charge against us, my friend said, "Great, he's ****!" Normally, I hate people making such remarks as they often come back to haunt you but even on that ocassion I was not bothered as he is awful. The only two positives that I can think of with Sammon are that 1) He tries hard, and 2) He makes a nuisance of himself in the final third. Other than that, I'm stumped.
