I see, you like spit and polish type pubs. Well, there's lots of real ale pubs in Belper now, without the chance of catching fleas. My local, The Black Bulls Head, won amber valley real ale pub of the year. No fleas in sight. The Bush and the Poets are really good pubs to be fair. People come into a pub and sit discussing the taste of the beer. read the derby drinker and fill in a book rating the beer. what is it all about. get the bloody ale down your neck you old fossils it all tastes the same after 5 pints.
