The Scarlet Pimpernel
But Clough also believes we have sufficient cover at centre back, thus deeming the 'reserves' good enough. Therefore, it doesn't matter risking them. We on the other hand, know the **** we will be if just one of them goes down.... Is that a fact? I thought he has said we would be in for an emergency loan. Ambitious
I sincerely hope we are still in the market for 1 or 2 players (preferably a centre back) but it doesn't sound likely, they seem a bit too happy to make a profit this summer.
Guest
"We are OK at the moment with Richard and Jake and they played very well against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday," said Clough. "Now we have got Adam Smith in, Kieron Freeman can cover both full-back positions and Craig Forsyth, John Eustace or Valentin Gjokaj could go to centre-half, if needed. "So it is not a desperate situation and it would have to be the right player but we are still looking to try and get some cover in. We are making calls. "With John Brayford going, it gives us some leeway to bring another defender in."

davenportram
didnt think the emergency loan market was open yet ? The transfer window isn't shut yet - so the normal loan window is still open
