Nice one Utch. I'm immensely proud that my village (Castle Donington) has been the metal capital of the world for 30 years - and you should be likewise proud that Utcheter is seen as a world leader in plastic.

I've helped run the British Mini Club for over 20 years now. Looked after the website etc for 15. also into my Fords as well. owned many RS's etc. Still own a classic Mini and dare I say a modern MINI.

Always liked the 5 GT Turbo, good luck with the rebuild. Do you know if the Mini ever got finished?

Would love a Mini, might even consider going to the event. More into Italian cars myself but for my first classic, I need something affordable.

Wow that's commitment!

It was just too much, completely solid but just very tired and in the end I lost motivation... Hopefully in the next few years i'll get a cooper and just drive it to country pubs on Sunday evenings!

I tried the ford game but with a Fiesta RS (yes I know...) I spun it into a well that had just been dressed!

Thanks, luckily there's a 5 specialist in Telford so they'll be seeing my ££££  :(

I sold the mini to a friend who retired last month, he can't wait... the bugger.

I'll send him your way!

We saw a collection of Minis at the Torchwood area of Cardiff Bay last year, you might have been there then rsmini? Beautiful little cars they were - and immaculate.

I had a Fiesta RS Turbo as well. What a car that was, totally uncontrollable on the slightest bit of ice. Please tell your mate to visit our website
