i was expecting a " the cows got used to it" but yours was good mate.

That would have been better, bear in mind it is 2.30am here and I am up feeding my little boy, razor sharp wit is a little tricky right now although I still think I could take Elvis on in a banter battle!

Got the plonk on ice, I'm cooking a Christmas dinner today cos my son and his good lady are with us, won't see them for more than 5 minutes tomorrow.

My lovely piece of beef's been in the oven since 6 this morning. I've been up since 4 (toothache) taking lots of pain killers, they've worked, and I'm a happy bunny and surprisingly relaxed. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Have I buggery! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

It's sitting on (imagine a trivet) - a halved onion, a halved parsnip, a whole head of garlic chopped through t'middle, some water, a couple of bayleaves, peppercorns, a sliced carrott and a couple of cloves, it makes the best gravy. The beef's seasoned with a bit of olive oil and some salt and pepper. Yum yum yum yum yum 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

The wife did sticky toffee pudding with ice cream, insane. My turkey was good, parsnips cost me 20 quid for 5 but were great and the roasties were fantastic,10pm here and am about to slip into a contented coma, merry xmas to.all in derby. I might try and make it over for xmas next year.
