Cisse
I have wondered this before but on my visit this time noticed once again that you have lots of youngsters working there. Mostly in shops, pubs, cafes etc. What does grown ups do ?

Surely people start work their around 16 too? You're massively rich out there so I wouldn't be surprised if you started buying our teenagers to work for Nokia. Cisse
You should be very proud of your youngsters there. There is no chance that kids of that age could get things run so smoothly in hotels, restaurants and shops.
lyndsey
My daughter started work at 14 in a soft play centre she works weekends and during school holidays, to me it give them a good work ethic for when they are older, plus it's teaching her the value of money. Boycie
I had a paper round, and on a Friday used to collect the money for the papers. I was only about 14, Of course the risk was to be mugged, raped, buggered, pillaged and molested. But the customers still opened the doors to me. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> I had a paper round, The Barnsley Chronicle every Friday, and The Barnsley Star every weekday. Them chronicles were massive thick things, and I used to get 25 of them in me bag and I had to cross farmers fields to get them delivered. In winter, in the dark, trying to dodge the cow ****, impossible when it was pitch. I used to get £3 and thought I was a millionaire 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Boycie
Well, before I was born I was fish heading at the local chippy, then just before the sun came up I'd make sure the horse that pulled the milk cart was fed and watered. Before school, if you could call it school ,I'd fitness train the butchers dog.
