From my searches on YouTube he feels a similar foward to Washington. Someone who can run at defenders and stretch the play. Maybe we let him go and see Yates as a direct upgrade? And also look for a more of a traditional target man as well. A front three of NML Yates and CBT would certainly be dangerous on the counter attack.

Ben Osborn is a great signing. I feel he could play for most teams top end of the championship table. I don't we can do much better than bringing him in. I will reserve judgement on Jerry Yates.

Hopefully we get the signing Ebou across the line. It all depends how far apart Cardiffs demands are though with how much we are willing to pay...

Who was they expecting us to sign? Declan Rice? In order to feel underwhelmed Osborn would be a great addition to any championship team!!

Happy with this. Great move for us and for him to be fair. Versatile player at a peak age who has plenty of Championship and Premiership experience. Derby lad too which is always a bonus!

Surley we must be one of the only championship clubs now who hasn't done any business/announced any signings.

Hard to know if Josh Murphy going to Pomby is a loss until we know who we have coming through the door.

I agree. I'm not sure which one is awful? One is versatile foward who can play centrally or outwide in the peak of his career and the other is a centre back with Premiership experience.

To be fair you are right. Ryan has the higher pedigree both in terms of his club career including his club career and international career. He probably is the better keeper out of the two. I don't they are poles apart though and the decision surely will be made on which we can afford/ leaves money in the pot for other signings.

I feel Iverson and Ryan are of similar levels so it's just who wants to join us without it costing silly money. Iversen with his loan contributions vs Ryan wage demands.

20k a week is steep. It would all depend on what percentage of his wages we would need to pay for any loan deal. If we could pay 60% ie 12k a week then we may have a deal on our hands.

I see him primarily as a centre mid who can also play as a left wing back. He's got plenty of experience in the Premiership and Championship and is levels above what we have at the club. He's turning 30 not 25 so for trying to sign him up is a no brainer. Being a local lad is a added bonus.

I'd definitely be happy with Matthew Ryan as our number 1. Not sure what his wage demands will be though and if they will be affordable.
