I have never understood how football has allowed this bizarre situation to be accepted where the Clubs pay the fees for the player’s agents. These players employ their agents- they work for them and benefit from their efforts. Yet the Clubs pay the fees ! It’s nonsense. The players themselves should be paying for THEIR agent’s fees. Madness.

The way things are now after tonight u almost feel that we need Posh to be in with a chance of the autos (along with Bolton) for the last game of the season so that it means something. So long as we go into that last game knowing that, if we win then we will likely go up, then I will take that… even if it’s a question that we have to win by a certain number of goals to go up by GD..

Up to four games ago that is completely true. Since then he’s effectively been a passenger as an attacking force. I love Nat as a player but we have to be honest…. True, he can’t be expected to ‘do it’ every game but five games without output at this stage of the season is fatal… and yes, that does show how important he is to us as a team…

The first season when he was getting used to the PW style of play I can understand. But after a full pre-season he should surely be fully fit now and able to complete a full season .

Yep- a point closer to third and the playoffs that we want to be in…. Right 👍👍

I think it’s arrogance. Even PW and Waggy have touched on it in interviews recently…: that the players think they can just turn up…then u hear PW this last week saying that he didn’t like the look of the players in training ….

Funny enough I happened to look at a YT vid last night of some of Johnny Russell’s goals for Kansas… some classical finishes in there…

To be honest I’m sick of hearing his baffoonish BS and the players talking things up. Even more so after the Northampton fiasco the players and mgmt turn in such a turgidly abject performance as that tonight !!?? Pathetic. Spineless. They don’t deserve us.

PW left changes too late I fear. It’s at times like this u feel like giving up…: just totally useless…. Want to be positive but sick of all the talk and no action…. Depressing stuff. That hope that kills u is killing me …😳

True. It’s been an absolute mare of a decision and just hasn’t worked. Square peg, round hole.

Just the two in central midfield isn’t working…at Pompey we did ok cos Ward did brilliantly coming inside defensively … and Pompey let us play more. In this type of game all we are doing is spending all our time scrapping and running around a lot…

When have we passed through the middle !? It’s almost as if PW bans them from doing it…it’s ok playing it out wide when our star wingers are on form, but when they aren’t we have to find another way…

One thing I’ve noticed with him is that he so often waits to be given the ball instead of making himself available by making runs or stepping into space…
