I wonder if there'll be a fire sale at Cardiff then, is there any other current Cardiff players we'd like to see in a Derby shirt next season?

Having Adams will allow both Conor and Max to do more "expansive" stuff. That, IMO, was also the reasoning behind the Fornah transfer but after a promising start Fornah appears less of a player than we first thought. Hopefully he can regain his mojo. Having him and Adams fighting for the Seth role could be awesome. Especially if Fapetu continues to develop...
Conversely, this apparent news of CH possibly leaving in the summer means we'll have to replace both him and Max Bird. Is Robinson ready? MF 3 of Adams, Robbo and Fapetu.. or would having 2 young uns in there not be the best idea?
I think Warne would probably sign another mid-to-late twenties runner as a first choice to play alongside Adams, plus a more creative player in front of them. And have 2 out of Fornah/Robinson/Fapetu on the bench to replace them in the latter stages of games.

I think you have the wrong Cameron Humphreys

This is the one i saw

His Wikipedia page says he's 24 years old. Must be a typo, we tend to go for players 30+ don't we? He does have facial hair though so he can join the beardy brigade.

Call them by all means but you will be in a queue for ages and will get a message saying your call is important to us. It rings and rings, eventually you give up when your phone battery is shot to run out. If you do hang on for a longer and get through, you get through to an overseas agent who asks you verify your own details and then they transfer you to another line, which just rings and rings forever.
Wow! Your family do that to you too? 🤣

I've watched him a few times at Donny and he might well fit into a Warne system, loads of energy, doesn't stop running and could play off a target man (if we sign one), he did really well with John Marquis. Also, his Mrs is from near Donny so might want to move back up there - it's a nice area contrary to popular belief! And it's not a bad run down to Derby from there, I've got a feeling Warne will make this happen
Doncaster is not a nice area, I grew up there and still live only a few miles away. Nothing has changed for the better since I left.

I doubt Warne would even want him back at the club if he's got even half an eye on a move away. Warne seems to want players that are prepared to roll their sleeves up and fight for the cause (don't we all). The extra wage budget would also come in handy too, i just hope Derby don't do some sort of deal with another club where we end up subsidising his wages just to facilitate a move away.

Noticed today that Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent are out of contract at Rangers, don't know whether they have been offered deals or would even come. Morelos has scored tons of goals and is out of favour, Kent has scored plenty from left wing. Any thoughts?
I can't see either of them come to Derby

Maybe the women referred to in this article/by the original twitter poster were on their phone checking out the other scores or league table? Working out all the different permutations? Looking by how many Notts Forest were currently losing by?

The bit that caught my eye was in the Mail, about the Nigerian Billionaire stepping in to save Shef Utd. I'm always wary of the emails I get from Nigerian Billionaires.
I thought exactly the same when I read about that. I've also read today that Morecambe are being bought out by a 20 year old!

Does that mean he's still legible for the first time then?
I would imagine they can offer him a first team contract at any point so long as it's within the business plan.

14.Waghorn (124)
16. Blackstock (121)
17. Jerome (116)
=18. Graham (113)
=20. McGoldrick (111)I quite enjoyed that little quiz/game.

Marcus Tudgay or David McGoldrick?

Going off them having long careers in the Championship but mainly away from Derby I'll guess Conor Hourihane and Barry Bannan might be in there?

Theo was alright. Only time I've seen a player see out a minute of a game lying on the floor with the ball trapped between their legs. Averaged about 1 in 3 for us over a couple of seasons as well despite limited ability. Tyson was terminally injured but the pure distress it caused Forest when their flag waving poster boy turned down a new contract and came here was worth the wages.
I agree regarding Theo, not so much regarding Tyson.

I think Warne had to win over at least a small section of the fanbase due to his comments after the final game of the season, when he was told Derby had stayed up at the expense of both Sheff Wed and his Rotherham team. Add into that he'd failed to keep Rotherham up every time he'd taken them to the Championship, some people probably thought he was a tactically a weak manager.
I'm glad he's starting to prove people wrong.
-
Might as well do away with the previous 30 or so days of the January transfer window and just have the one day, seeing as that's when 99% of the deals seem to get done.

i remember we had an option to buy Carroll and spent it on a loan fee for Ellington. Biggest miss out I remember was Yakubu. Couldn't sign him in 2002 under Gregory for a million just before the poo hit the fan due to not enough European appearances. Then he went to Portsmouth to get them promoted. Cheers

I think the Viduka link was the season he joined Celtic from Dynamo Zagreb.

I seem to remember links with Mark Viduka and Andy Carroll in his younger days.

I wouldn't be too disappointed if true except for Wildsmith, but that may well be his decision to leave.
