It's all very well saying we chose not to spend what we had available but have you considered that maybe we did try to spend it and players were not interested in coming to us or that maybe the players available didn't fit the profile and attitudes we were seeking ?

Not sure it's a case of our "ability" to pay more more a case of what the EFL consider we should be allowed to spend following our "transgressions " . But you are correct in that it needs to be spent wisely and in the right area. I'm trusting Warne to do that. Probably until EFL sanctions no longer affect us. There are around 12 players who's contracts are due to expire as we could only offer short contracts thus limiting who we could attract to the Club. We start again ...again.
