Really 🤣 How much preparation time did he have 😂 McGoldrick was our talisman last season and hardly played under Liam. To get that team 7th under the circumstances, the same position Warney got us at the end of the season, was good enough in my book 😊

Indeed. He managed to cobble together a squad in 5 minutes, had very little time to get them ready for the new season but still got them just outside the play offs. You could see what the plan was, what the tactics were. Two seasons in I am still pretty clueless as to what our plan is under Warne. There wasn’t the need to make the change at that time. I am pleased that Liam is doing such a good job at Hull. A good young, progressive manager that I for one wish was still with the 🐏. When/if we replace Warne I hope we go for a young, exciting coach like Ipswich, Southampton and Hull have done 😊

A couple of those strengths would do 👍

Someone who is tactically aware, can play the right formation, who plays players in their right position, who can make changes at the correct time and starts from the outset to try and win games.

My sons Sunday morning coach was quite decent. At least he went out and tried to win games…

If I am not at a 🐏 game, I follow it religiously on the tv. I even had a radio to my ear on my wedding day 🤣 For the first time that I can remember, I didn’t follow yesterday’s game. Unprecedented. I just checked the HT and FT score. Instead. I watched the first couple of episodes of Love/Hate which has been recommended highly on the Jim Smith section of the forum. It didn’t disappoint. The acting was excellent, it was tense and exciting….really enjoyable and entertaining to watch. I would certainly have got my money’s worth if I hadn’t signed up to Brit Box on a free 7 day trial. Can’t wait to go back for more. Afterwards having got the 🐏 result, I spent a bit of time flicking channels and ended up with Mrs Brown’s Boys. I turned the 📺 off 😉
