Parking in particular is highlighted as an issue. Suggesting you park in city centre and get public transport to the ground or head to Goodison Park area. No on screent parking at least 1km round Anfield.

Apparently there are some grass verges near to where the away buses park on Arkles Lane. If you park on these you will get a fixed penalty notice. It happens every game to unsuspecting away fans.

No dedicated away pubs but they all have security. The Arkles is popular but has a strict over 25s policy.

Extensive building work at the ground so check your ticket and follow the instructions on the map - don't leave it late as there are two layers of security to get through.

No bags larger than A5 size. No exceptions and no bag store.

There’s a car park at a sports centre next to Lower Breck FC about 10 minute walk from the ground. It costs about £9 but is a proper car park with security, not just a grass verge. If you go park on the left as you go in at the front as it makes it a lot easier to get out!

Though obvious, It's worth pointing out that what you experience as a general visitor/tourist will usually be very different to what you may have experienced as a visiting football supporter, certainly in the 1968-1990 period. Experiences stay with people, good and bad. I've had few experiences bad enough to dislike anywhere particularly, and certainly not in Liverpool, but I've come across nobheads everywhere. Good people though tend to outnumber bad people in most places.

Well said, same with most away games typically as you mention - certain types of people are everywhere.

I hate the bin dipping thieving barstewards razored one of my mates getting off the coach in 1978. Nasty place to go , that “great “ scouse sense of humour only counts when the jokes on you not them.
Plus us losing a place in Europe after their Heysel problem.
    Apart from that ………..

I’m hoping some grow up before the game comes and realise 50 years have passed and things change. Will be very embarrassing if chants of sign on and reference to Hillsborough come out because of people stuck in the past like you.

Brilliant news, the ticket office have just rung me and I've now got a ticket for Fleetwood as they've had some returned - so happy ?

I'm near the top of the waiting list apparently, so hopefully get some good news soon. Glad you got a ticket sorted.

Looks like there were 5 slots of sales for away membership holders for each away game:

First 48 hours - members who attended 20+ away games last season

Second 48 hours - members who attended 15+ away games last season

Third 48 hours - members who attended 10+ away games last season

Fourth 48 hours - members who attended 5+ away games last season

    Fifth 48 hours - members

Wayne's speech ... blimey that really has disheartened me.

I hope I'm wrong, but I cannot think of a good manager who is not a good communicator.

Steve Coppell hasn't done a bad job and he looks & sounds half asleep most the time.

Hopefully this is the push Lawrence needs and he can lead us to a good place this season.
