  1. Knowing someone from Burton doesn’t create a connection. Put your bottom lip away.

    11 Points

Weird thing is, it’s a record nobody will really think about. They will continue to assume it’s us as we have the worst tally. They got off lightly here.
  3. Now that's a vision I DO NOT want floating in my head, especially just after breakfast.
  4. Just had this vision, @DarkFruitsRam7 walking around with his arm round his mate belting out this classic, I don't know how I feel about it yet.
  5. Perfect and much needed post on this forum. Whilst this isn’t up there with becoming Champions of England, for many at your age this will be as you say, the first taste of success as a Derby County supporter. Our opportunities for success are limited due to the state of the game. This could be the only cause for celebration for the next decade, plus. Think some of the older fans need to appreciate that and not spoil this moment with the constant doom. I have 2 promotions under my belt, Jim Smith and Billy Davies, even your post even makes me feel like a veteran, yet I’ll still enjoy this one. Just booked a table down the local in front of the screen, going down with a bunch of mates who I will fit out with Derby shirts from my collection for the day. To quote Paul Warne, up them beautiful Rams! 🐏
  6. Never thought we would have a topic on those on this forum, but here we are, we are here because you know what, with Joey Barton wildly posting misogynist content over on X, it's about time they had some praise rather than criticism. And they deserve it. https://news.sky.com/story/invincible-all-girl-football-team-goes-whole-season-unbeaten-in-boys-league-13119242 That is some achievement, fair play to them 👏

Funny you should mention Bielsa when Warne is criticised for running the players into the ground. Anyway, you're comparing managers that have much longer CV's and been at clubs where the base level of player has been better than what Warne has had at Rotherham to work with. By going up, we are entering new territory with Warne having a club of this size to manage, we are not Rotherham. I just can't understand the eagerness to write him off as being this incapable fool, surely the bloke deserves a little respect and a chance to manage this club in the Championship and prove his inabilities? You went from this team wouldn't stay up, well duh, shifting it to his inability to get the best out of players whilst we're 1 point away from achieving promotion. Feels like you've just set out to moan and piss on peoples chips on a day where we have moved to within a point away from promotion, no matter how much you may dislike or not rate his abilities, the timing is just bizarre, why can't we just sit and enjoy the moment instead of playing Nostradamus. Whilst it might not be promotion to the Premier League, it's still a promotion and a significant one at that, if you can't just sit back, crack open a beer and enjoy it, I don't know why you bother with the game. It's not often we will have moments like this where the club has achieved something. FA Cup, League Cup? Not a chance, the only other things we have left are promotion to the Premier League and Premier League survival, now in a week where the FA and PL have colluded to F the football pyramid over, to think the only time we can celebrate will be when we join that lot is s sad state of affairs. And that's coming from someone that's desperate to see us back in the Premier League as well.
  8. Always the danger of having a 2nd team in the same football pyramid. I have a nephew that's a Manchester United and Grimsby Town fan, I ask him, if you meet in the cup, who's your team, says it's a win/win situation. Come on now, that to me is worse than those half and half scarves. As soon as Burton were promoted into the same league as us, it was time to part ways, there are 6 points to play for and we want all 6. I don't get it, but each to their own, if that makes them happy fair play. Myself? I hope they go down and we have that distance between the 2 clubs again which if you look at the status of both clubs, that league between us should be.
  9. It's not hard to create a website. Things are only easy with knowledge, you've thrown in another thing now, ledger, is that another term for a digital wallet? Look back at your own personal experience, from day 1 of reading into Bitcoin to actually investing, how long did that take?

Not sure why this ever needs to be said. How many football clubs have been promoted and not made a single signing? We have players out of contract, Bird and other on loan players that will return to their clubs, what this exact team could do in the Championship is not worth even thinking about as it isn't going to happen.
  11. We don't need to rely on anyone but ourselves. If we can't get at least a point against bottom of the table and done and dusted Carlisle, with 186 games for Derby Paul Simpson in charge, we deserve the play offs.
  12. I don't like the smell of the town. I don't like their online fanbase who despise Derby despite their match attending fanbase being largely made up of Derby fans that couldn't get an away ticket that weekend. I don't like that love in, especially when we have had to compete with them in the same division over multiple seasons, our fans are effectively helping fund opposition with ticket sales. I don't like the thought process that because Im a Derby fan I should automatically like, wish their club well or show interest in them. I have zero connection to the town, we have other clubs in Derbyshire that we could help fund that are much lower in the football pyramid. I don't like their badge or kits, they look more befitting of a Sunday league side than a professional Football League outfit. I don't like BBC Radio Derby having to cover a Staffordshire team, the coverage should be shared over with Stoke.
  13. Controversial I know, but hear me out up there football gods, I've been an extremely good boy this year. All we need is for Cheltenham to beat Peterborough and Stevenage. Fleetwood to beat Burton. Job done.
  14. Beat me to it. I was under the impression true Bitcoiners had digital wallets and avoided brokers.
  15. How about these sanita.....no wait, ice creams.
  16. Funny thing is, go look at the account, barely anything about cricket. And look at the impressions these are getting, they have 635 followers yet 17k views one of them, his latest one over 4k in 25 minutes. Probably getting paid for all that s**** as well.
  17. I think we all gathered you wasn't the real one 😂
  18. When Iran attempted to bomb Israel, I went on X, clicked on the trending topic and after 30 seconds I just gave up. All it was is a bunch of copy and pasted tweets from different accounts. RT if you support Israel, like if you support Iran. Literal copy and pastes. Then, no Sanatani will scroll past this without liking, with some gif of an Indian woman. No news outlets, no journalists, nothing but these tweets after each other. I tried blocking keywords, they only work in your home feed. I started blocking accounts, yet refreshing it was populated with more of the same. I don't care what the Musk fanboys say about his stats and revenue claims, the platform is a shadow of its former self, it's utter s*** is what it is. Had he just followed his free speech dream and left everything alone, not touched a thing then it wouldn't be an issue. Every single change he's made is a backwards step, the latest one paying users to post has created this viral copy and paste nonsense which is damaged the ability to follow events in real time. I hate there has been no group of developers financially backed to bring a real alternative to this shitshow.
  19. Fun fact, not sure if posted elsewhere but Paul Warne's first game in charge of Derby was a 0-2 away win against Cambridge, be a great little story for his grandkids to gain promotion at Cambridge where it all started. And of course, Warne's biggest fan @RoyMac5 *former club as well. *THE Roy McFarland
  20. For me, if your behaviour has a negative impact on others, that's where I have a problem. If you want to stick a few lines of coke cut down with aerial non bio up your nose, risk a stadium ban, arrest and all the consequences that come with that, go for it, just don't be a knob to others whilst your ego has been artificially inflated for a brief period of time. If you want to go punch someone after the game because they are from a different city and wear a different shirt, go for it, just find likeminded individuals and do it away from others where women and young fans are innocently just trying to get home after the football match. Install big cages, load it with weapons and have fans sign waivers before entering, no use of medical services allowed and the coroner will come collect any bodies in the morning. It's when that behaviour impacts others, reading situations from fans on this forum, especially older fans that have had dealings with other fans at away games really annoys me. Be it alcohol or drugs, if you can't control yourself then you should be in therapy, not a football stadium.
