March 12th
It was a fantastic day of weather, which heard the year’s first Blackcap song about the area – this being around Stanpit golf course, where one Siberian Chiffchaff was present and 4 White Wagtail were on Priory Marsh. Although later in the morning, Meadow Pipit were seemingly quite numerous moving over the greater Christchurch area, there were hardly any detected above Hengistbury early on. Presumably, the clear skies meant that birds were passing over higher than ears and eyes could detect. However, a Sand Martin, a Yellowhammer and a Siskin did move through; while a couple of Wheatear were settled, as were half-a-dozen Chiffchaff, and an Iceland Gull was logged. Later on, a female Blackcap was also on-site, as was a further Wheatear.

I cannot get my head around calling a beer "Black IPA" - when the bloody "P" stands for "Pale" - and I'm not criticising the taste or the look of the beer at all. I do like the style - nice and hoppy (not ridiculously so) with a fruity, citrusy twang (Cascade and Citra FTW), none of that burnt dark malt flavour of many of the stouts and porters - but can't someone please come up with a better name?
Agree mate but tis a great ale, especially on draught

The Bremont in question was not at Watts jewellery. I believe it was at the window of Hinds. You did suggest Watts though and I visited there but didn't notice that they were an AD for Bremont.
No one saw you

My little bit in the buckle bit on my swatch has broken. Possibly went reaching under a floor board for a 3 core 1.5. Anyway, I digress, it keeps loosening and slipping under my wrist. It's just no good.
I'm afraid it may slip off and break the bathroom window.Invest in something a little more permanent....

I assume that was meant to be one question?
Last week's haul was from the continental bar at the beer festival, this week from liquid treasure again in Belper. Before that I had two gigs to go to in Nottingham so naturally bought a few to take away over the course of 2 days.
Other than that if I go to a London gig I'll nip into Sourced Market at St Pancras
wasn't sure whether you lived in Derby so just popped in the ? mark

That 10.4 de molen Rasputin imperial stout, pretty awesome.
I've drank about £70 worth of beer in a week and a half, this could become a bit of a problem, need to slow down.
Keeping the BrewDog Dog B, Samichlaus and Cuvee Van De Keizer until my birthday in April or maybe later (depends on if I buy something more exclusive in the meantime)!
Where in Derby? do you buy all these ales mate?
