Sandman got a reaction from Ken Tram in Peterborough vs Bolton
I was tempted to bet £100 pounds on Bolton winning second place and getting promoted, but I resisted the tempatation. That's my beating heart over-ruling my cautious head.

I was tempted to wager £100 pounds on Bolton getting the automatic promotion slot at the odds of of 100-1, but I've resisted temptation. I'd rather Derby were promoted than have ten thousand pounds in my bank account. That's the heart ruling the head.

Sandman got a reaction from angieram in Derby v Stevenage FC - Match Day Thread
A determined performance is not a good performance. DCFC were once one of the finest football clubs in the country - and now we are reduced to giving a "determined performance" against a little team called Stevenage in the third division? Look on my works you mighty, and despair, said Brian Clough before he fell into ditch on his way home from the pub to his house in Quardon. Que Sera. Sera.
