After looking at goalies in the danish leagues age, contract length and likelihood of signing them. I’d imagine it is Nathan Trott. This season he’s been amazing in the Danish league this season. He’s only 25 which is young enough for a goalie in my opinion and is a free agent as his contract with West Ham ends this summer. He has been on loan in the Danish league for the past two seasons after being on loan in the second division of France with Nancy and in league one with Wimbledon in the 19/20 season.

He’s out of contract next summer not this summer.

Was on loan at Wigan in the second of this season and only started 11 games and made 2 sub appearances.

He was never a central midfielder, also think his legs will only allow him to play centre back or the odd game at LB/LWB. I’d say he’ll be very much a cup player and come on late in games to sure things up. I think it wouldn’t look the best if Fozzy was starting central midfield in the championship 😂

Brentford released their retained list and have released Shandon Baptiste. I’ve suggest him before on here but now he’s officially a free agent he’s a player we should definitely be after. He came through oxfords academy so I’m sure Mark Thomas knows about him. Hes a box to box midfielder with 10 prem games (2 starts) this season with 1 goal and 1 assist. He’s 26 so is in the right age bracket and will definitely join a championship club. Over the 21/22 and 22/23 seasons he’s made 45 prem appearances which nearly all them from the bench so I’d imagine he’d seamlessly fit into a championship midfield having only played 14 championship games in his career so far.

Every time I see him he’s absolutely awful, wouldn’t go near him.

Yep he’s good, got a knock in minute 1 here today and now being taken off cause of that same injury so was obviously playing through pain. Brentford would definitely let him go especially after giving Josh Dasilva a new contract.

Funny enough Warne has just been talking about him on sky before the Playoff final. Mentioned his pace (one of Warnes turn ons) and his creativity from wing back. If he has a good game today Warne could definitely be onto him in the coming days.

Yep Warne said that in his post season round up interview. Him and his staff went to Holland and then onto Denmark to watch players.

Happy with that, hopefully Sibley signs a new deal which I think he will and I’m not sure about Collo. Hopefully Weston, Fapetu and Bartley all sign new contracts with the 21s also and get 2 or all 3 of them out on loan.

Swansea have confirmed Nathanael Ogbeta is leaving as a free agent. If Bolton don’t go up (hopefully they don’t) I could see us getting being in for him as I imagine he’ll want a championship move. In his last 2, 6 month loans to league one with Peterborough and Bolton, he’s played 36 games getting 3 goals and 7 assists from left back or left wing back. He’s comfortable in a back 4 or 5 so would suit us perfectly. He’d be a great option on a free with good potential. Should it work out we have a good attacking wing back with good sell on potential ina couple of years.

Adding to this he’s also younger than Wildsmith and bigger, he also is in the 51st percentile for long balls compared to wildsmith 8th percentile. He was good at Stoke keeping 7 clean sheets in his 18 league games which is the exact same number they managed in their first 28 games. Definitely is an upgrade on what we have and could well sort out goalkeeper position out for the next 8-10 years in the tiny chance he stuck around here for the rest of his career.

Don’t know why you think he was average at Preston. I remember before or after a Preston game on sky they did a segment on wether he was the best goalie in the league or not. He also won supporters player of the year and players player of the year in 2022. Leicester fans also were desperate for him to start in the premier league when Ward was starting over him because he was performing well whenever he played.

With away crowds increasing and the home attendance then being probably around 29,000/29,500 that would be roughly an extra 1 million to 1.5 million for the year if you average out at roughly. £20 pound per person for 25 home matches (with cups) minimum.

Didn’t realize about Osborn, but with Small I said he has 1 year left and I did read that charltons chairman or head of football said a few months ago if Thierry (small) doesn’t sign a new contract we will trigger his extension and then hinted at selling him. Id be very surprised if he stays at Charlton this summer.

If Leeds go up I’d take a look at Charlie Cresswell on loan, barely featured this year but the year prior was amazing on loan at Millwall playing 28 league games and scoring 4 goals from centre back.
