  1. Well done lads, management and all coaching staff. Surely Bird doesn't want to play for Bristol now, and even more Ebou definitely doesn't want to play for Cardiff. UTR 🐑
  2. My sound didn't work, changed channels and back, now it does, hope that helps
  3. Would have liked to have been there today, but wife is away so can't get. Always look forward to the match thread but can I make a plea that if things aren't going well that we all revert to moaning and we hardly get any match updates ( @Caerphilly Ram being a notable exception thanks). Thanks in anticipation. UTR
  4. 1Wildsmith 8, 2 great saves, thought the first was in, very confident, good punching clear too 35Nelson 7 solid, slightly uncomfortable on rh side 3Forsyth 9, astonishing performance given recent injury, won all his headers 6Cashin 8, solid, maturing well 23Ward 6 2Wilson 7, good going forward 32Adams 7.5, very competitive, constantly manhandled, good that he tries to shoot a lot (not very successfully) 4Hourihane 5, only good in first 10 minutes, should be on bench 16Thompson 7, good energy, mazy dribbles, needs games to get confidence to shoot 17Sibley 6, unlucky to be subbed 20Elder 6 7Barkhuizen 7, threatened first half, unlucky to go off 10Waghorn 7.5, good physical presence kept the Bolton defence busy 25Gayle 6, unlucky, get well soon! 12Smith 7, busy, added midfield presence 11Méndez-Laing 7, tried hard, not much came off Warne 9, good team selection, substitutions and game management Ratings based on first game of season, therefore no pre conceived ideas.
  5. My first game of the season. Haven't felt the excitement to come all the way from West Wales for a while due to cost and time, whilst being frustrated with team selection and particularly substitutions (too late and wrong). Today, however was back to the feeling of the relegation season. What an effort from all the team, you could see the togetherness. And all deserve credit for getting over the line when we didn't look like winning. And well done Paul Warne for managing the game and substitutions to great effect
  6. Lawrence Shankland from Hearts anybody? Wouldn't cost anywhere near as much as JCH
  7. RIP B4. Condolences to family and friends. You were the most positive DCFC supporter ever. Your rallying cries before matches were a tonic for us all and your positivity win or lose after the match had no equal. Rest in peace friend, we need more like you
  8. 1Wildsmith 6 24Nyambe 6 17Sibley 6.5 35Nelson 5 failed to tackle for second goal 5Bradley 5, as above, not up to it 6Cashin 6.5 better when he came on 3Forsyth 4, missing for the first goal 2Wilson 6.5 positive attacking play 4Hourihane 6.5, lots of the ball, should have done better with it 12Smith 5 doesn't add anything to the team 7Barkhuizen 5, good intent but shoots as if he's wearing flippers 20Ward 6 8Bird 6.5 11Méndez-Laing 8, confident, plenty of the ball and good goal 14Washington 6 9Collins 6, unlucky with offside, in right place, exactly where he should be Sorry only saw second half on TV due to strange kickoff time. Couldn't be bothered to post my thoughts on the match thread due to the doom monger hysteria so here goes! Thought we played decent football, can't convert crosses, really sad that Warne won't give the kids a chance, 2-0 down what have we got to lose?
  9. And surely not accepting that you've made a mistake will affect his other businesses. His reputation must be taking a real hit in his property business?
