Hi Guys.

Just a quick question about tomorrows game.

Is there a family area at pp?, reason i ask is i'm taking my son and i'd like him to sit in an area where the yobbo's aint f***in and blinding 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> , not being a fuddy duddy, i usually sit in the corner with the boys as its a good atmosphere but it's just this time i'd like keep my boy as far away as poss, he's only 8.

Cheers.

NE corner is great. right at the back, our lot sit there with our kids. Cussing happens sometimes, you have to expect a bit - but I'm guessing it's far worse in other bits of the ground.

Haha, not having a go at you mate, but I find it funny when people who eventually take there own kids to games suddenly become conscious about swearing at matches after doing it themselves for years.

I'm one of them.

You don't realise how unneeded it is sometimes. C this and F that for no reason, all included in a normal calm conversation between people.

Mind you, I do cus still at refs, and have to apologise to lil' Boycie.

Since me and my mate have brought his kids along, my language is so much improved, and I now wince when someone has a rant, signs of getting old!

A few months ago i was sat next to a very young lad (must have been his first game) and his mum. some joker right behind him was swearing and shouting non stop for the whole first half with no thought for the lad or his mum, so i told him to stop swearing as we had come to watch derby and not hear him curse. i was promptly told to show my season ticket by the idiot (which i did) and then he offered to 'sort it out' after the match! so probably would avoid the east stand! haha

I just don't get it - presumably everyone appreciates that, if there's younger kids around, they and the parents don't want to hear bad language, and acknowledge that they should tone it down? I've been known to use the odd naughty word, and if I don't notice a younger person in earshot and slip out a word, I'm genuinely apologetic.

Why would someone go to the match just to stand up for their right to swear in front of kids?

Genuinely don't get it.
