Brammie Steve
The memories!!!!!! They just came flooding back. I went back to South Derbyshire in 2010 and stayed overnight at the Navigation in Overseal. I was told that there was a mural of "The Team" on the bar room wall. I knew before looking that this had to mean the 71-72 Champs. Everyone remembers Clough but, as Roy Mac makes clear, it was a magnificent team effort and all of us who lived through it as Rams fans feel enriched by the experience. Great interview. mozza
If only Longson and Clough could have sorted their differences out, we'd now probably have 5 titles, 3 european cups, florest would be in third division, having never had a sniff of notable success. Ahh well..'IF' is a big word.
