That's a great question Neo, I've wondered the same things.

For me it's a combination of things,

from memories, right from being about 4/5 through me youth and 20's.

songs that have been played more often on the radio for the last 30 odd years which I've always remembered

songs that took me through me youth

songs with a great beat (music is great for lifting my mood and my favourite one is by The Spinners

there's all sorts of reasons really but the music made now will probably be classics for kids when they're old like us. 'http://www.dcfcfans.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

I look at it as pretty much anything that hits the spot (musically speaking of course 'http://www.dcfcfans.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> )for whatever reason, but isn't too recent. I do like the diversity of tastes by the regular contributors on here.
