PrivateDerby Posted October 16, 2011 Share Posted October 16, 2011 We know that the Championship is unpredictable, but yesterday was a big test for us. We have been waiting to see 'where we are' for a few games now, so with 11 games gone are we still non the wiser? Obviously things change in football, but we seem to have a team that can grind out results, albeit by hanging on for dear life! What are you're thoughts now? Personally I think we did extremely well yesterday against a very good side, which shows we can compete in the top 6. The lads seem to enjoy playing for derby which is brill. Main positives :- A good defence (with room for improvement) Team spirit (not seen in a while) Happy fans (again not seen in a long time) A good honest Manager who loves the club (extremely rare) We have 8 tough games coming up Reading - A Middlesbrough - A Portsmouth - H Cardiff - H Peterborough - A Hull - H West Haaaam - A Brighton - H How does everyone think we will fare? Unfortunately the names above constitute the spine of a half decent team. I think we are doing very well considering - but we do need some help to accommodate these injuries if we are to stay top 6.
