Let's Talk al-Notts Rovers

Jesus, that really is laughable.. without a doubt the worst interview I have ever read and I would headline 'the most important thing was his CV' sounds like an absolutely dogsh*t decision and it was made by the looks of things on a string of bottom half championship finishes with different teams.

Cotterill for my money won't last till the end of the season and highly doubt Clark will be around much longer either, I'd be in absolute despair if I was a Forest fan at the minute, the whole thing smacks of pub team, incompetent decisions!

If you had researched the man you would understand actually he is a damn good appointment for them, did wonders with cheltnam, certainly better than what clough did with burton. He was unlucky at burnley losing his best striker in each of his 2-3 seasons there, and before that they were flying high. At portsmouth, kept them out of relegation despite only having about 18 squad players, unfortunately he is a good appointment for them and will stabilize them.

Me thinks you dno what you is on wi...

He`s GASH !!!

Cheltenham was his only plus ?

He`s got no cash, in this league, with that squad. Good luck.

he wasn't exactly rubbish with burnley, average finishes when your top striker is either sold or injured and before he was you were flying, keeping portsmouth up with 0 money is not as you put it "gash". P shilton, i think he needs lots of medication 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Who was this "top striker" Burnley had?

All I can remeber them selling was Ade Akinbyi. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Fact is, his win record is rubbish at this level, only 28%.

yes he was there top scorer 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' /> and was pretty good for them from what i can remember, and Andy gray, top scorer and injured, he also lost chadwick in the middle, you say 28% is poor which it is but i am not sure that is his record at this level, clough at his worst had a 30% win record, he had finished 14th, 20th and unconfirmed, cotterill has finished 13th, 17th and two mid table finishes with portsmouth. I think he is a good appointment for them unfortunately, let's hope i turn out wrong 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Maybe, more like 31% when you average it out, but still a poor record for a manager with 200+ games at this level

Think his spell at Notts County was overrated too, when you have players like Kasper Schmeichel, Ben Davies & Lee Hughes as your main players in the forth tier, I'd expect promotion!

his spell at cheltenham was quite remarkable, portsmouth he did ok at considering he had about 18 players and they almost went bust when he was manager. Stoke he had 13 games at, so no point measuring it, he didn't have time to put his stamp on things. Burnley he won more than he lost, not saying he will get them promotion but he is a mid table manager under those circumstances, in all of those except stoke he has won more than lost. He seems to draw way too many at this level, like i say i am hope i am wrong 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' /> but i think he will guide them to mid table security.

Cheltenham was over a decade ago! It was decnet but many more manager have done better since, look at Carlisle United, Hereford, Morecambe, Torquay, Yeovil, Dagenham & Redbridge, Doncaster, Steveange, Exeter etc. The differnce between the Conference and L2 is not that much. Look at how AFC Wimbeldon are doing this season!

Stoke stayed up when he went

Burnley never missed when he went

Notts County aren't missing him

Lets wait for Portsmouth

I would say his record at Notts County, although short, was nothing short of outstanding Pld 18 W14 D 3 L1

You can throw in as many level-headed stats around as you want, but the most important thing is the dirty dog fans hate him and want Billy boy back.

Which is 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Mark Arthur is a Ram

Is a Ram

He 'ates Forest.

Seriously, why else wouldn't they get Billy back? And when he would of gone at the end of the season they could have put some proper thought into a manager.

Who knows who'll be out of work by then. Martinez? Coyle? Rodgers? Lambert? Warnock?
