Let's Talk al-Notts Rovers

Okay joking aside, i'll be completely unbiased and say that Forest are dreadful, can't see them winning again this year and will go down. Sammon Tyson and Theo will run your defence ragged, and Buxton will have Cackstock and cox in his pocket all game when we play you. Thats me being unbiased. What I meant was, our defence has the potential to be solid. And more solid then theirs is.

Halford/Hutchinson Ayala Collins Harding

Brayford Keogh Roberts O'Connor

What makes you think that your defence will be more solid than ours?

Infact looking at the individuals in your team, they look terrible, so you better hope Nigel can get you playing as a team or else, as I've been saying since before the season started, you will be relegated.

Hutchinon was **** when he came on, young lascelles is better than him.

You mean

Brayford keogh BUXTON Roberts

The fact you don't know our starting back four isn't a good start.

Brayford, well come on he's a very good RB on his day. You would take him over Halford in a heartbeat

Keogh, young yet experienced. If he steps up to the plate he could be a massive player this year.

Buxton, goalscoring CB (but you already know all about that 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> ), solid, plays with passion and desire.

Roberts, never looked beaten once at PP against you lot last year. Experienced NPC LB.

Also have back ups in O'Connor, Freeman, Hoganson, Naylor (although I wish we didn't), O'Brien, Gjokaj.

And I like to think Shaun Barker will get to play against Forest one more time.

I believe Harding and Collins are good defenders. Ayala I'm not too sure about and the less said about Halford the better.

looking round Bolton forums, not many were impressed by you, summed up by this post:

I knew nothing about Forest before tonight,

I do now - they're feckin' *****.

What's more annoying is that we couldn't beat them AT HOME and everyone wearing a white shirt on that pitch tonight MAKES MORE THAN A MILLION POUNDS A YEAR.

Yes that's a million pounds, not Yen or Dong.

What a load of ********.

It's easily done when you're talking through the telly.

But Stan said all the Bolton fans were saying......whoa.....wait a minute.............you mean he were'nt there, chatting to all the Bolton fans before the game?

Surely that would make him.....a.......WUM........come on mods, ban the X£&)?/**!

lol you picked out the only one ha...

enjoyed a lot of our football tonight and thought that at times we passed the ball well. We had 3 chances to finish it, but even at 3-1 up i would have been nervous. We were susceptible to a ball going into the yawning chasm between Mills and Knight throughout.

I'm looking at the positives personally. Forest will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season but I thought we did enough to win it. A draw was probably a fair result.

One word to sum that up - frustrating.

The majority of the first half, we were even worse than we were first half vs Derby. No cohesion, no confidence. Who was supposed to be closing down McGugan? I suspect the players were all asking themselves that very same question, as it seemed none of them had a fecking clue where they were supposed to be. It looked like we were playing 4-blackhole-4-2. Us scoring was an absolute crime; Forest had us on the ropes and staggering.

I'm quite optimistic after that game, more so than the result against Derby. This is a team which finally looks like it's getting it's confidence back, which is great news. Yeah, things were often too simplistic and poor - the long balls from Mills were incredibly frustrating - but the weakness we are showing are mainly down to a lack of confidence. When we were passing in triangles, working at a high tempo etc., we looked very promising but that couldn't be sustained long enough. Forest are a good side though

Just back beer in band. Had a £1 on us to win 3-2 at 25-1 so bit peeved about that but;

I enjoyed what was a good game of footy tonight and a fair result imo.

We still look very weak defensively as a unit and in this system we may as well have sold Mark Davies cos we'll never get much from him when he's outnumbered every week. SKD was immense. LCY is getting better each game and I thought Eagles & Andrews were both impressive.

Forest were well organised and passed it about well. They'll have a good season, I'm sure.

Bolton fans know fook all about the Championship.

"Forest will be there or thereabouts and the end of the season." - based on what? They have nothing to compare you to yet!

"forest are a good side" - how would Bolton know? They've W1 L1 D1. If they think your good then they'll ***** themselves when they play Cardiff and Blackpool and other to Champ sides who are used to bossing games.

Typical PL ignorance. I bet they thought every team outside the PL plays Sunday League stuff.

Why do they think you'll finish near the top? Because you gave them a good game? Sorry Bolton, but you might not actually be that good yourselves.

Watched the game last night and being honest Forest deserved there point. Cox was excellent in everything apart from goal scoring and Gillett was tremendous in midfield. After all the hype you lot have given adlene I thought he'd be the star of your center midfield but he looked average, and on another night he would have been sent off. Gillett moved the ball fantastically and broke up any Bolton attacks through the middle of the park, he'll be a key player for the way SO'D want's to play.

The main worry for Forest should be there defense, Halford was ***** at center back and I'm not so sure he'll do any better at right back to be honest. Collins was solid enough, Harding and Moloney look weak and vulnerable. I'm sure they'll get better over time but to be honest they need a lot more at the back.

But if they carry on playing the way they are they'll be fine, they might even finish in the top ten. SO'D has done a good job in a short time and there lucky they went for him instead of a 'name manager'. If they suffer a few injuries, especially at the back where there already weak, then god only knows where they'll finish.
