derbydan
The cadaver was taken in a coffin to the Primera Division clash between Cucuta Deportivo and Envigado by some particularly fanatical friends of the deceased. The body of Christopher Jacome was taken to watch a game in Colombia. According to reports, the coffin contained the body of 17-year-old Christopher Jacome, who was gunned down in a local park while playing football. Members of the Cucuta Barra del Indio supporter group arrived to pay their respects at the funeral service and decided their pal deserved the ultimate send-off - a trip to see his idols one last time. Cucuta's medic Julio Rivera told Colombia Reports: 'They don't let in the "barras" [fanatics] but yes, a cadaver. 'This is the only part of the world where this has happened.' Police are baffled as to how the coffin got through security at the ground and was allowed to be held aloft in the stands, and an investigation has been launched by authorities and the club. Cucuta Deportivo fans pass the coffin around in the stands (AP) Cucuta Deportivo fans pass the coffin around in the stands (AP) Colonel Alvaro Pico described the incident as 'unfortunate'. Strangely, Mr Sanguino's posthumous presence appeared to have a positive impact on his side's fortunes. The coffin was brought into the ground with the home side 1-0 down and just 30 minutes left, but Cucuta equalised minutes later. Football fans can be fairly resourceful when it comes to sneaking items into stadiums. In 2001, Inter Milan fans smuggled a motor scooter into the San Siro and proceeded to throw it from the top tier of the stand onto visiting Atalanta supporters below.
